   Safety Reporting:

The Safety Reporting System, is an essential component of the Safety Management System (SMS), It enables Saudi Arabian Airlines to establish a non-punitive line of effective communication and a system of information/observations feedback between Corporate Safety department and the frontline/operational  staff

These vital safety related information is processed through a well established and tested safety committees and workgroups corporate wide on regular intervals, and the outcome is utilized to upgrade and make more safe; work practices and operational standards.

Lessons learned from such valuable reports are employed in the proactive mode of prevention  programs. Enabling Saudi Arabian Airlines to be steered into a safer operational environment and work practices.

Standard Reports :

The Air Safety Report (ASR), Cabin Safety Report (CSR), Ground Safety Report (GSR) and Aviation Confidential Reporting System (CRS) Forms, have been extracted from the newly developed Saudi Arabian Airlines Safety Manual (SAASM), as prepared by corporate safety, with reference to the aviation operator‘s safety practices working group of Global Aviation Information Network (GAIN), where SVA Corporate Safety is a participating member.

These reports represent efficient tools in an effective Accident  Prevention Program. The importance of utilizing these vital safety reporting tools lies completely in the hands of the Operational Safety Oriented personnel  The analysis of the reported information can be used to identify operational hazards. Where effective countermeasures/defenses can be developed to reduce the operational risks (risk management) to an acceptable level company wide.

They have been streamlined to contain several reporting forms into one simple yet detailed form, with information required for further investigation made into a simple check box format.

How to use the Reporting Form 

You may select any of the Standard Reports described above. You may enter any information you find important, you may include or exclude your Name, PRN, Job Title, Duty Position, Unit Name, Building No. CC, Location, etc...

What MUST be entered is the EVENT, the PRACTICE, or the ACTION that - in you view - is hazardous.
