l           Maintaining the air/ground safety occurrence reporting database

l          Insuring the implementation of required corrective actions and flight safety trends.

l          Coordinating the regulatory authority’s Mandatory Occurrence Reporting scheme such as IATA /ICAO

l          Liaising with the heads of all departments company-wide on flight /ground safety matters

l           Chairman of the Company Safety Committee (SCC), arranging its meetings and keeping records of such meetings

l          Disseminating safety-related information company-wide

l          Maintaining an open liaison with manufacturers’ customer flight safety departments, government regulatory bodies and other flight safety organizations world-wide

l         Investigating company accidents and incidents

l         Carrying out safety inspections

l          Maintaining familiarity with all aspects of the Company’s activities and its personnel

l          Managing or have oversight of the FOQA Program when available

l          Publishing the periodic Company safety magazine

l          Participation in corporate strategic planning

l          Custodian of IOSA

l          Chairman of Unruly Passengers Subcommittee

l          Secretary of the Company's Operational Safety and Quality Assurance Committee (COSQAC)

l          Member of the government Aircraft Hijacking Handling Center
